Whether you’re here for wedding inspiration, couples’ photo tips, or just to browse through dreamy sessions—I’m so glad you stopped by. This is where I share recent shoots, session advice, behind-the-scenes stories, and a little bit of my creative world.
If you’re planning your own photoshoot or just love beautiful love stories, you’re in the right place. Take a peek around and stay awhile.
Let’s be real—figuring out what to wear for your photoshoot can feel overwhelming. You want something that looks amazing on camera, feels like you, and won’t leave you second-guessing every detail. Don’t worry—I’ve got you. Whether you’re planning an engagement session, a couples shoot, or updated portraits, this guide will help you feel confident, comfortable, and completely photo-ready.
The most important rule? Wear something you feel good in. If you’re adjusting your outfit every five minutes or stressing about a tight fit, it’ll show in your photos. Go for clothes that let you move, laugh, and be yourself—because that’s when the magic happens.
• One dressy outfit (think flowy dress + button-up or fitted jacket)
• One casual outfit (jeans + cozy sweater or cute neutral tops)
• Add some texture—lace, knits, or linen photograph beautifully
• Coordinate colors, but don’t match exactly
Cream maxi dress for her, olive green shirt and khakis for him = chef’s kiss
• Wear what represents your brand or vibe (light and airy? Bold and colorful?)
• Choose 2-3 pieces max to avoid overthinking
• Statement jewelry or layers can elevate your look without taking over
• Neutrals & Earth Tones: Timeless, soft, and let the focus stay on you
• Muted Jewel Tones: Deep green, rust, mustard, navy—rich but not overpowering
• Avoid neon, super bright reds, or busy patterns that can reflect or distract
Layers create movement and dimension. Think cardigans, scarves, jackets, or even hats if they’re your thing. Bonus: they give you options to mix up your look mid-session without a full outfit change.
If you’re including your pup (I mean, of course you are 😍), make sure their collar or bandana matches the vibe of your outfits. Props like blankets, champagne, or even your Jeep can make the session feel more “you.”
Seriously. My clients send me outfit options all the time, and I love helping with styling! I can even create a quick vision board to make sure everything flows with your location, season, and shoot vibe.
I’ll help you every step of the way—from choosing your location to styling your outfits. Not sure where to start with your own session wardrobe? Take inspiration from some of my recent clients who absolutely nailed their outfits. Whether you’re into cozy flannels, beachy neutrals, or something totally unique to you—remember, your outfit should make you feel good and reflect your vibe.
Still need help? I’m always happy to help you plan!
