Ferry Beach Wedding | Intimate Coastal Celebration in Maine
On September 12, 2025, I had the honor of photographing a small, heartfelt wedding on Ferry Beach in Saco, Maine. The day was warm and sunny, the ocean sparkling in the background — the perfect setting for a seaside “I do.”
The couple envisioned a day that was simple, meaningful, and true to them — and they brought that vision to life beautifully. Nearly everything was handmade. From the décor to the details, their creativity and care showed in every corner.
Guests enjoyed a cozy buffet filled with delicious dishes, laughter, and good company. There was no rush, no fuss — just stories shared over plates of food and hugs between old friends. The atmosphere was full of warmth and genuine connection, the kind that lingers long after the day ends.
As I moved through the celebration, I captured the moments that can’t be planned — a tear wiped away during a speech, a burst of laughter between siblings, hands held tight during vows. Every emotion felt real and raw. Family was at the heart of this day, and it showed in every frame.
